summer

I am looking forward to the summer. It's time to relax and have fun, (and maybe a trip to SC).
I also get to celebrate my birthday ( which is proof that the Lord does have a sense of humor, being as that I was born on the first day of hurricane season.) I also get to celebrate my wedding anniversary. (three years) Also the Pulaski baseball team starts their season in mid June. ( Go Mairners!) This will give me a lot to write about and maybe post a pic or two.

Mowed down

I have no green thumb. However, I do love flowers. Aaron gives me flowers sometimes for no reason but to enjoy them. This spring, our front yard was blessed to have tulips growing by the steps that lead to the house. Since I no absolutely nothing about flowers and they were beautiful, I left them alone since I didn't want to run the risk of becoming a flower killer. Amazingly they lasted a great while. However, this morning I discovered that the guys who mow our lawn (this is part of our lease agreement) mowed them down!!! I have no idea what to do. I feel bad that they wrecked something that someone worked hard to grow. (I'm guessing the house's previous owner planted them, becasue I have no idea how else they got there.) So, to my friends out there who are gardeners, my question is. Are they(the tulips) gone for good?
