Well, yesterday we went to the hematologist to find out what may be causing my anemia.
My hemoglobin reading went from a 6.7 to a 7.2. The doctor examined me a bit and asked me some questions and put me on straight iron tablets to have three times a day. He is also wanting me to be tested for von wellbrands disease. Apparently those who have it bruise easily and bleed more than they should after surgeries. It's something he said that wasn't really life threatening and that medicine will help if I have that condition. I see him again in October.
