The End....for now

Yahoo! I am almost done with my second semester of school. It has been interesting.
Surprisingly fast, too. Hopefully my grades are as decent as last semester.
The toughest subject for me was my Introduction to Math Class. I know, it's basic and easy for a lot of people, but it was tough on me. I am horrible beyond belief when it comes to math. Never made it past Algebra 1 and that was with a D. Well, this time around (so far) I am making a B
(an 86 ). My last test before the final exam is on Geometry and I take it tomorrow. Hopefully, it all goes well. It all ends May 8th...until August.

The "Art" of Arguing

Okay, I am taking English111 at the college. English 111 (at least the class I'm in) is nothing but essays. I have done a narration, (story telling) a compare and contrast essay, and a classification and division essay (which was the most fun for me.) Now we have been assigned to do an Argumentative Essay. Now I know I have a fiery temper, (I broke a window during a fight with my sister when I was nine. I am a much calmer person now.) But this is hard for me because my last argumentative essay made me feel like I was just blathering on. Also, it's hard for me to just pick one side because I see both sides to EVERYTHING. So I chose something that I am completely against and nothing about the subject will change my mind. My subject:
Re-banning Alcohol my teacher, told me he had never had a student write about the subject, at least one who wrote against alcohol. Let's just see how it turns out....

Radio Diary

About 2 weeks ago I get a packet in the mail from the Nielsen Media group. I open it up and find 5 dollars and a TV diary asking me to keep track of what we watch. What I noticed was that I watch the most TV, and that Aaron and I don't watch as much as I thought we did.
Well yesterday I get another packet from these guys asking us to keep a radio diary.
This is interesting. I usually listen to my music list from playlist.com or satellite radio from dish network ( 50s, 80s, 90s and the Hairbands) and other than NPR while driving to and from work, the only other "radio" Aaron listens to is ESPN radio streamed through the Internet, while he works. Luckily they count Internet and satellite radio listening, otherwise that diary would be useless. Either way it ought to be interesting to see if we watch more TV or listen to the radio more often.

Newbie

I am new at this. So please be patient. I will blog whenever I need to "rant" or just want to tell about something exciting, cool, or whatever happens in this crazy life of mine. If anyone has any questions about what I post you know where to find me. And of course, feel free to comment!
